William T. Kennedy

William T. Kennedy, 67 of St. Clair passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at Berks Heim Nursing Home, Leesport.

Born in Pottsville on July 27, 1956, he was a son of the late Thomas J and Patricia G (Ross) Kennedy.

A graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville, Bill was self-employed as an electrician for over 40 years serving St. Clair and surrounding communities.  He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair, and a Marshall in the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Patrick Dormer AOH Division 32, St. Clair.  Bill had a love of nature and travel, having traveled cross county many times and visited several national parks.  Bill’s interests included dirt bike racing, riding motorcycles and ATVs, lifting weights, playing guitar, hiking and kayaking.  He had a sense of humor and always had a story to tell of his travels. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother , John F. Kennedy, and a nephew, Thomas Kennedy.

Surviving are 2 brothers Thomas Kennedy and Edward Kennedy, husband of Jennifer Lawrence Kennedy, 2 sisters Patricia Kennedy, and Florence Kennedy wife of  Steven Westley, 10 nieces and nephews, and 7 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street, St. Clair, PA 17970.

Friends and relatives are invited to visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be at  Queen of the Universe Cemetery, St. Clair.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 3810; National Wildlife Federation, P.O. Box 1583, Merrifield, VA 22116; or National Park Foundation, 1500 K Street, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005.
