Bonnie Norton, 76, of Pottsville, died Wednesday February 2, 2022, at LVHN Cedar Crest, Allentown with her family by her side.

Born in Pottsvillle, August 20, 1945, She was a daughter of the late Edward and June (Coulson) Moran.

Bonnie was a 1963 graduate of Pottsville Area High School. She was a teacher and one of the founders of Little Saints Preschool, Pottsville until her retirement. She previously worked at W.T. Grant, Pottsville and as a reading aide at St. Patrick’s School, Pottsville. Bonnie enjoyed every moment she spent with the love of her life, trips to the beach, quilting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years J. William “Bill” Norton on September 7, 2004.

Surviving are 2 daughters Sharon Rossi and her husband Ken of Pottsville; Kimberly Kimber and her husband Billy of St. Clair; Grandchildren Kenny Rossi and his fiancé Mandy Wills; Tyler Rossi and his wife Katherine; Joey Rossi; Sadie Kimber; Timmy Kimber; Joshua Kimber and Emily Kimber; a sister Peg Reber and her husband Earl of Pottsville; a brother Bill Moran and his wife Karen of Pottsville; an Aunt, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Monday February 7, 2022 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St. Pottsville, PA 17901 with Msgr. William E. Handges  officiating.  Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at  the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the J. William Norton Scholarship Fund c/o Hidden River Credit Union 60 Westwood Rd. Pottsville, PA 17901. Burial will be at the convenience of family.
