Ruth J. Fields , 76, of 415 West Frack St., Frackville, died Tuesday her at home. Born in Frackville, March 10, 1937, She was a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Berger) Phillips. She was a graduate of Frackville High School and Reading Hospital School of Nursing Ruth retired as a Nursing Supervisor from the former Pottsville Hospital & Warne Clinic. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Frackville and Pottsville Hospital Retired Nursing Association. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Fields on August 4, 1999 and a brother Robert Phillips. Surviving are son Brian Fields and his wife Stacey of McCordsville, IN; 2 daughters Sharon Wetzel and her husband Douglas of Dover; Susan Wolfe and her husband Steve of Pine Grove; 2 granddaughters Laura Stine and her husband Joel; Erin Wetzel; a sister Linda Hein of Ocala, FL; sister-in-law Grace Phillips of Frackville; Nieces and Nephews Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday from Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave. Frackville with The Rev.
