Richard B. Schuetrum Sr., 58, of Pottsville, formerly Mahanoy City, passed away Friday February 16, 2024, at LVHN- Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Born in Shenandoah, September 3, 1965, He was a son of the late Nelson and Ruth (Bright) Schuetrum.
A graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, he worked as a Weatherization Auditor for Schuylkill Community Action.
Richard was a member of the American Billiards Association. He enjoyed Camping, Hunting, Fishing and Watching Jeopardy. Spending time with his children and grandchildren was his favorite pastime.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Ruth Wertz and Donna Ford.
Surviving are his wife Ethel (Peters) Schuetrum; 2 daughters Brandi Schuetrum of Frackville; Amanda Schuetrum and her companion Michael Kranch of Park Place; a son Richard Schuetrum and his fiancé Carson Felver of San Diego, CA; 3 Grandchildren Michael, Kaylyn, and Hunter Kranch 3 brothers Nelson Schuetrum of St. Clair; Scott Schuetrum of Shenandoah; Roger Schuetrum of Fountain Springs; 2 sisters, Darlene Wonderlick of SC; Candi Hemrick of Ringtown ; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair, PA 17970. The Rev. George Summers will be officiating. . Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Wednesday at .the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral costs.
