Joanne Strenkowski, 79, of Frackville, died Tuesday April 29, 2025 at Shenandoah Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Shenandoah, PA.
Born in Frackville, June 10, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Sokena) Strenkowski.
She graduated from the former Frackville High School.
Joanne was a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville.
In addition, to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Catherine Cooke.
Surviving are a sister Helen Mogish of Klingerstown, brother Joseph Strenkowski of Scranton, nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, 209 South Leigh Avenue Frackville. The Rev. Kirill Zawatski will be officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:00 – 10:00 am at the Nice-Hart Funeral Home, Inc. 9 North Leigh Ave. Frackville, PA 17931. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Ascension Orthodox Memorial Fund. Burial will be in Holy Ascension Orthodox Cemetery, Butler Twp.
