Norma E. Mihalsky , 85, of St. Clair, died Saturday at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville surrounded by her family.
Born in McAdoo, January 31, 1931, She was a daughter of the late Irvin and Margaret (Swank) Reading.
She was a graduate of St. Clair high school and a member of St. Clair-Wade United Methodist Church, St. Clair.
Norma was a homemaker, care giver, former brownie leader in St. Clair, and past secretary for the Dalinda Dance Studio.
In addition to her parents Norma was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Mihalsky on Feb. 12, 2016 and a brother Warren Reading.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Peggy Mihalsky of St. Clair; Linda J. Mihalsky of St.Clair; son Michael J. Mihalsky Jr. and his wife Pam of St. Clair; sister Esther Verchick of St. Clair; 3 grandchildren, Courtney Lynn Zimmerman, Caitlin Ann Simmendinger, Michael Warren Mihalsky, 10 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Haylee, Nora, Ava, Elley, Camden, Jaxson, Oliver, Aria, and Bria. Sharon Davis, a cousin who was like a daughter and who was devoted to taking care of Norma for many years. Nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair, 17970. The Rev. Joan Pacocha will be officiating. . Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday and 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clair-Wade United Methodist Church 23 North Front Street St. Clair, PA 17970. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
