Mary Homovich , 87, of Girardville, died Sunday at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Frackville. Born in Girardville, August 28, 1925, She was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Schmuhl) Willis She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Girardville. Mary was preceded in death by her husband John Homovich in 1980 Surviving are 6 children John S. Kessler of Shenandoah; James S. Kessler of Ashland; Joseph P. Kessler and his wife Jean-Ann of Girardville; Lila M. Shoup of Girardville, Ken “Butch” Kessler of Girardville, Anne Marie Kushwarra and her husband Fred of Frackville, 11 Grandchildren Joseph Kessler, Mickey Cress, Kimberly Gonzalesz, Mark Kessler, Joshua Kessler, Jack Kessler, Jason Kessler, Rita Hartz, Shawn Shoup, Candice Shoup and Kevin Kushwarra, 13 Great Grandchildren; Caregivers Jean Anne Parfitt and Judy Stanton; Nieces and Nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, West Main and Richards Sts., Girardville. The Rev. Edmund J. Brennan will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven .
