Margaret Gulko

 

 

Margaret Gulko, 97, St. Clair, died Thursday January 28, 2016 at Genesis Health Care Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.  

 

Born in St. Clair, December 1, 1918, She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Zemyan) Feryo.

 

She was a 1936 Graduate of St. Clair High School.

 

Margaret was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church, St. Clair where she was involved in St. Barbara's Society and St. Michael's Sisterhood;  She was a Girl Scout leader for several years;  A founding member and longest active member of St. Clair Senior Citizens.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve  Gulko in 1976, 4 brothers Joseph George, Michael and John Feryo; 2 sisters Mary Macko and Helen Nevada

 

Surviving are 2 daughters Christina  Todd and her husband David of Severn, MD;  Gloria Shadle and her husband Dennis of Hegins; granddaughter Denise Kroznuskie and her husband Michael of Minersville; 2 great granddaughters Adrienne and Alexandra Kroznuskie; Nieces and Nephews.

 

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 N. Second St. Saint Clair.  Further Services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday from St. Michael's Orthodox Church , 109 North Nichols Street St. Clair with Rev. Jeff Zias  officiating.   Friends may call from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Tuesday the funeral home In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael's Memorial Fund , 106 North Morris Street, St. Clair, PA 17970. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, St. Clair.
