Jerome A. Klimas

Jerome A. Klimas , 71, of St. Clair, formerly of Frackville died Friday at his home Born in Ashland, March 18, 1942, He was a son of the late Jerome J. and Alice (Birster) Klimas. He was a graduate of Immaculate Heart High School, Fountain Springs. Jerome served in the US Army. He worked in the coal mining industry for his father and other companies and also spent several years as a truck driver for local companies. He was a member of Catholic Faith; Frackville Senior Citizens and Frackville American Legion Post 398. Surviving are 3 sons David Klimas; Paul Klimas and his wife Rebekah; Graig Klimas and his wife Michelle; and 2 brothers John and Edward Klimas 4 Grandsons Jordan, Seth, Damien and Eric Klimas; 1 Granddaughter Isabelle; Nieces and Nephews; Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday from the Nice-Hart Funeral Home Inc. 9 N. Lehigh Ave Frackville, PA 17931 with Rev. Robert Finlan officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Frackville Senior Citizens 130 E. Frack St. Frackville, PA 17931. Burial with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
