Gregory R. Davenport , 72, of St. Clair, died Friday at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville.
Born in St. Clair, August 12, 1943, He was a son of the late George T. and Margaret (Gregory) Davenport
After High School Gregory attended Rittner's School of Floral Design. He worked at several area florists, retiring from Trail Gardens, Cressona.
He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Chruch, St. Clair and the St. David's Society.
He was preceded in death by sister Shirley Davenport; 2 brothers Thomas Gregory and Harold Davenport.
Surviving are a brother Ronald C. Davenport of St. Clair; 2 nephews Craig E. Davenport of St. Clair; Scott M. Davenport and his wife Alicia of Dickson City; Niece Tracie L. Clews and her husband Scott of St. Clair; Great Nieces Tristen L. and Emilee S. Clews.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM from Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1 N. Front St. St. Clair with Rev. Joseph McDemus officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist church at the above address. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair
