David A. Johns Sr., 59, of St. Clair , died Thursday November 5, 2015 in St. Clair.
Born in Pottsville, July 17, 1956, He was a son of Luther and Anna (Antalosky) Johns
He was a 1974 graduate of St. Clair High School.
David A. Johns served in the Air Force during Vietnam War.
He worked as a Carpenter for the Schuylkill County Housing Authority, Minersville.
He was a biddy basketball, Little and Teener League Coach in Shenandoah for many years.
David was an avid Guitar Player performing in the group "Martial Law" with his brothers.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Robert and James Johns.
Surviving are his wife and companion of 21 years Sarah (Shustack) Johns of Shenandoah; 2 sons David A. Johns Jr. of St. Clair; Michael Johns of Shenandoah; 2 daughters Jessica Johns of St. Clair; Jennell Johns of Shenandoah; a brother Thomas Johns of St. Clair; 2 sisters Lou Anne Rader of Ringtown; Linda Sutton of St. Clair; 2 stepchildren Bryan Shustack of Frackville and and Melissa Shustack of Muhlenburg. 2 grandchildren Marques and Cashmire Walls; 3 Step-grandchildren Kyla and Noah Shustack, Alison Weikel; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:30PM Tuesday from the Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 North Second St. St. Clair, PA 17970. Friends may call from 6:00PM-7:30PM at the Funeral home. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral costs. Burial with military honors will be held privately from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
