Christine A. Johnson, 71, of Tamaqua, formerly of St. Clair died Saturday May 14, 2022, at St. Luke’s University Hosptial – Bethlehem.
Born in Pottsville, June 16, 1950, She was a daughter of Jospeh and Helen (Popnick) Wassel.
She was a 1968 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and retired as a Psychiatric Aide from Warnersville State Hospital, .
She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.
She was preceded in death by a brother John Sincavage; 2 sisters Helen Briesch and Theresa Large.
Surviving are a son Joseph Johnson of Minersville; daughter Melissa Johnson of Tamaqua; 2 sisters Anna Flail of McAdoo; Joan Thomas of Pottsville; Nieces and Nephews Minersville
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday May 23, 2022 from St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Mine St. Brockton PA 17925 with Deacon Jack Quirk Officiating.
