Anna “Nancy” Bramley

Anna “Nancy” Bramley, 88, formerly of Saint Clair, passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, at her residence in Sarasota, Fla.

She was born on February 4, 1932 to Frank and Anna Post in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. She was raised in St. Clair, Pennsylvania and graduated from Pottsville Catholic High School. In 1953, she married her loving husband George “Jack” Bramley. They had 40 wonderful years together before he passed away in 1994.

She was a loving and proud mother to their five children: John T. Bramley (Beverly), William “Bill” Bramley (Patti), Leslie Erb (Donald), Laura Smith, and Steven Bramley. Beloved grandmother to her 13 grandchildren: Amy and Chris Bramley; Sean (Sarah) and Sarah Bramley; Jacqueline (Robert) Cornell, Erika, Nicholas, Victoria (fiancé Patrick Brady) and Alexander Erb; Kurt (Nicole) Smith and Kevin (Rachel) Smith; Lauren and Jack Bramley; and 3 great grandchildren (Luke, Levi, and Paisley Smith).

She resided in Pocono Lake, Pennsylvania working as a realtor before retiring to Florida. Once in Florida, she enjoyed being an active member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, floral design, crosswords, and time spent with family, friends, and her dog Bailey.

She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Anna Post, sisters; Betty, Florence, Ellen, Marie, and Rita, husband Jack Bramley, daughter in-laws; Nancy E. Bramley and Maureen Bramley.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2021, from the Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville. The Rev. Monsignor William F. Glosser will be officiating. Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, Saint Clair, is in charge of arrangements
