Harry Palamar Jr.

Harry Palamar Jr., 83, formerly of St. Clair, died Wednesday at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville, and returned to the loving grace of Jesus Christ.

Born in Buck Run, June 25, 1935, He was a son of the later Harry Sr. and Priscilla (Dozitsky) Palamar.

He was a 1952 graduate of Cass Township High School, before joining the U.S. Navy on Columbus Day, 1952.

Harry served as a Yeoman in heavily classified Naval Intelligence for 21 years in the US Navy.

After many successive years of work at Exxon Chemicals, Harry earned a degree from Penn State.

Upon Baptism, he embraced Christianinty and pursued faith in Jesus Christ, as a welcomed member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, St. Clair.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife Mary Lou (Kelly) Palamar, a son Kevin Charles and his first wife Olga (Mastorganis) Palamar.

Surviving are Son David Palamar of St. Clair, 2 Daughters Denise Louise Rokosky of Mar Lin and Phyllis Ann Yilek of Minersville, One sister Harriet Schaeffer of Minersville;  5 Grandchildren Keith, Jamie, Trevor, Nigel and Quincy; Great Grandchildren; in-laws, Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair with Rev. Joseph McDemus officiating. Friends and surviving family may call from 9:00-10:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Memorial Fund, PO Box 172, St. Clair, PA 17970. Burial with military honors will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
