Theresa D. Kurchock , 86, of 281 Mill Creek Ave., Pottsville, died Sunday January 20, 2019 at LVHN – Schuylkill – East.
Born in Dieners Hill, December 14, 1932, She was a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (Franus) Sleva.
She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair, PA
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Kurchock in 1988, 3 sisters Carol Salak, Mary Berdanier and Agnes Chiminitz; 9 brothers Michael, Anthony, Dominic, John, George, Joseph,, Peter, Thomas, and Vincent Sleva;
Surviving are a son Michael Kurchock of Pottsville; 3 daughters Michaelene Drozal and her husband Francis of Shenandaoh; Geralyn Kennedy and her husband Stuart of Hazleton; Stephanie DeStefano and her husband Michael of Spring City; 13 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren;
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday January 25, 2019 from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 N. Second St. St. Clair, PA 17970 with Msgr. William F. Glosser officiating. . Friends may call Friday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in private at SS. Peter & Paul RC Cemetery, Port Carbon.
