Stella C. Marx, 82, of 45 West West Avenue, Pottsville, died Monday at Genesis Health Care Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
Born in Frackville, July 3, 1933, She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Fatula.
She was a graduate of Frackville High school.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Stephen Slinski, 4 brothers Michael, John; Joseph; and Peter Fatula; 2 sisters Mary Carr and Helen Fatula.
Surviving are her husband George F. Marx Jr., 3 sons Kenneth Marx, of Pottsville, John Slinski, of Pottsville, Stephen Slinski and his companion Angela, of Tremont, 1 daughter Glorian Montgomery and her husband Tim, of Summit Station, 2 sisters Olga Stefero and her husband Tom, Yorba Linda, CA and Anna Fatula, Mahanoy City plus many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday from the Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair, PA 17970. The Rev.Tom Degnitz will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Friday The Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. 6 West Main Street, Tremont, PA 17981. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.
