Sara E. Thorne, 85, of Minersville, died Friday December 3, 2021, at LVHN East, Pottsville .
Born in Orwigsburg, May 9, 1936, She was a daughter of the late Harrison and Catherine (Trout) Thorne.
Sara worked as a cook at the former River Inn, Cressona.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ann Bazar.
Surviving are son Martin "Mark" Thorne and his wife Dorothy of New Philadelphia; a grandson Damian Thorne of New Philadelphia.
