Russell Wonsock of Wilmington, DE went home to the lord peacefully on Christmas Day December 25, 2016. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved by all.
He was the son of the late Ann and George Wonsock of Mahanoy City. He was proceeded in death by sister Mildred and brothers Arthur, John, George and Edward.
He served his country in the army during world war II and received the Good Conduct medal. After leaving the service he went to Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He retired from Lyons Advertising in 1992 in Wilmington, DE.
Russell is survived by his wife Antoinette, with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage on October 24, 2016, his son Russ and wife Sue, Finleyville, PA, daughter Lynette Fortunato and husband Robert of Amity Pa.
5 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, 1 great grandson, sister Helen Sverha, Bethlehem, brother Steve, Park Place.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon, April 29, 2017 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish-Annucation BVM church, 33 S Broad Mt. Ave. Frackville. Rev Robert Finlan will be officiating.
Burial will be private.
