Robert J. Parrish Sr., 75, of Frackville, died Thursday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian St., Pottsville.
Born in Milroy, March 21, 1939, He was a son of the late Charles and Orpha Pauline (Close) Parrish.
He was the Owner at Bob's Towing & Recovery Frackville.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Friendship Fire Co. Englewood Goodwill Fire Co. Frackville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Beverly Parrish.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years Wilda (Leiby) Parrish; a son Robert J. Parrish Jr. and his wife Harriet of Frackville; a daughter Brenda Schuetrum of Frackville; a granddaughter Brandi Schuetrum of Frackville; 2 Step Great grandchildren Taniesha and Brayden Harvey both of Mt. Carmel; a brother Charles Parrish of Tamaqua; 3 sisters Margaret "Sue" Walters of Mifflintown; Nancy Lindenmuth of Ringtown; Karen Bova New Ringgold; Nieces & Nephews; Best Buddies Stifler & Trixie.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday from the Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave. Frackville, PA 17931. The Rev. Mike Tambussi will be officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family at 650 Washington Street, Frackville PA 17931 to help defray funeral costs. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville.
