Born in Pottsville, Nov. 7, 1937, he was a son of the late Paul and Mary Yetowta Costy.
A graduate of Saint Clair High School, he retired from PennDOT, where he worked as a truck driver.
Robert was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Anna Mae Tobin Costy; daughter, Colleen Macczak and her husband, Scott, Mohnton; son, Scott Costy and his wife, Donna, Pittsburgh; daughter, Marissa M. Costy and her companion Mark Hardner, Saint Clair; three grandsons, Cole Costy and Shane and Drew Zebertavage; a granddaughter, Jordan Marie Costy; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St., Saint Clair. Monsignor William Glosser will be the celebrant. Interment with military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery,
