Richard D Getter Sr., 82, of 401 University Drive, Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday at Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Schuylkill Haven.
Born in Bethlehem, May 28, 1935, He was a son of the late Richard and Beatrice (King) Getter.
Richard retired as a Truck Driver working for Sanger Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret (Thompson) Getter, 2 grandsons Richard Getter III and Richard Getter IV, Cheyenne Mobus.
Surviving are 3 daughters Peggylee Jones, Frackville, Brenda Getter, Mahanoy City, Donna Smith, Mahanoy City, 2 sons Richard Getter Jr. and his wife Tonia, Frackville, Ronald Getter and his wife Pamela, Walnutport, PA., one brother Daniel J. Getter, Myrtle Beach, SC, one sister Evelyn Malozi, Bethlehem, 34 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
Nice Hart Funeral Home Inc., Frackville, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial Services for Richard will be announced at a later date by the funeral home.
