Richard H. Camodeca, 81, of Queen of Peace Apartments, Pottsville, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 18, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. PA
Born in Pottsville, August 18, 1936, He was a son of the late Beck and Ethel (Meyers) Camodeca.
Richard was a retired US Army Veteran, serving four years. He was a Tree Surgeon working for the Former Quaker City Tree Surgeon, Pottsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Eugene Meyers and Thomas Camodeca.
Richard is survived by his brother Douglas Camodeca Sr. of Pottsville and his sister Anna Mae Wingle of Schuylkill Haven, as well as nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday from the Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 North Second Street St. Clair, PA 17970. The Rev. Chris Rothharpt will be officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Monday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 300 West Arch St., Pottsville , PA 17901 . Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville.
