Margaret Kovach , 83, of St. Clair, passed Saturday July 2, 2022, at her home.
Born in St. Clair, April 14, 1939, She was a daughter of the late John and Susan (Brutosky) Sabados.
Margaret was retired as a seamstress working for many local garment factories. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair, PA
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Francis Carroll in 1973, her second husband Peter Kovach in 2001, and her sister Mary Ann Harrison.
Surviving are her sister Kathleen Martinaitis and her husband George of Camp Hill, 2 nieces Cheryl Sweigert and her husband Keith of Schuylkill Haven, Tammy Shappell and her husband Bryan of St. Clair, brother-in-law Wayne Harrison of St. Clair, several cousins, neighbors and her caregivers Colleen and Paula Warmkessell.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Thursday July 7, 2022 from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St., St. Clair. The Rev. Msgr. William Glosser will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Clare of Assisi Memorial Fund. Burial will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Norwegian Twp.
