Leo J. Halkovich, 90, of Parkersburg WV died at his home on December 25, 2013. He is formerly of St. Clair, PA, son of the late Jacob and Fotia Merena Halkovich. He graduated from St. Clair High School in 1940 and from Penn State University in 1944 with a degree in Engineering. In addition to his wife of 57 years Anna Mary Grace (Nancy) Halkovich, also formerly of St. Clair, he was preceded in death by an infant brother John and sisters Anna Halkovich, Theresa Gregor, and Mary Krill.
He is survived by a daughter Lee Church (Ray) of Belpre, Ohio, a son Robert (Jan) Halkovich of Mettawa, Illinois, a step grandson JB (Betsy) Church and two step great-grandsons, John and Sam Church, all of Cumming, Georgia.
He was a United States Army veteran retiring from Walker Division of Butler Manufacturing Company where he was Vice President of Sales.
There will be a graveside service and inurnment at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the St. Nicholas Greek Catholic Cemetery in St. Clair, PA. Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 North Second Street St. Clair PA 17970 is in charge of arrangements.
