Joseph J. Stadnik, 87, formerly of St. Clair, died Saturday at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill, Pottsville.
Born in St. Clair, January 4, 1929, He was a son of the late Andrew and Pauline (Goles) Stadnik.
He was a retired from PennDOT as a driver for many years.
Joe was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, American Legion Post 719, and Arnots Game and Sports Association, all of St. Clair.
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Dorothy Plachko, Stella Wojcik, and Mary Cullen, 2 brothers Edward and Michael Stadnik.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. St. Clair. The Rev. Msg. William Glosser will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 212 East Broad Street Bethlehem PA 18018.
Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville .
