John Conroy, 82, formerly of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania died Friday June 3, 2022, in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Born in Pottsville, son of the late M. Joseph and Margaret (Siney) Conroy. He was a 1959 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, and served in the US Army.
Beloved husband of the late Catherine Ann Conroy; step-father of Roseanna Fay Haley (Tommy), Linda Joesoef, and Aswin Edward Joesoef; proud grandfather to Mario Mercado, Beatrice Mercado, Iain Berman and the late Emmanuel Mercado; loving sisters are Joanne M. Campion, Mary Evelyn Trinkle, Peggy Jean Hess, and the late Anna Mae Devitt; as well as nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday July 2, 2022 from St. Clare of Assis Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. Saint Clair, PA 17970; Monsignor William Glosser will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or at https://www.alz.org . Burial with Military Honors will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
