Born in Shenandoah, May 28, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Louise Schistle Spor.
Jean worked at the former Model Garment factory, Frackville, and was a library aide at the Frackville Free Public Library .
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Frackville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Caton; and two sisters, Theresa Sabitsky and Dolores Schiffert.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy Baum and her husband, Barry, Schuylkill Haven; a son, George Caton, Frackville; two granddaughters, Amy Ruppert and Krista Burke; a grandson, David Baum; and two great-grandchildren, Isabella Louise and Zachary.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family from Nice-Hart Funeral Home Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Frackville Free Public Library , 56 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville, PA 17931. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville.
