Irene A. Bracey , 92, of Pottsville, formerly of Frackville passed away Friday September 13, 2024 at LVHN Schuylkill East.
Born in Ashland, May 28, 1932, She was a daughter of the late Wassil and Catherine (Sedar) Thorick.
Irene worked in the garment industry for a short time before taking a full time role as a mother.
She was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.
In addition to her parents she preceded in death by her husband Jackie Bracey in 1982, 4 brothers Peter Thorick, Paul Thorick, John Thorick, and Wassil Thorick; 4 sisters Anna Cassella, Judy Maddox, Olga Marhon, and Catherine Britt.
Surviving are 2 daughters Diane Bracey-Yutz of Pottsville; Jacqueline Metzinger and her husband Thomas of Ashland; Grandchildren; Great Grandchildren; Nieces & Nephews.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday September 20, 2024 from St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Frackville with Rev. Petro Zvarych officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 245 S. Middle St., Frackville, PA 17931.
