Harry T. Swartz , 87, of Frackville, died Sunday at Lehigh Valley Health Network – Schuylkill – E. Norwegian St., Pottsville PA
Born in Frackville, July 7, 1929, He was a son of the late Thelbert and Ruth (Bevan) Swartz.
He retired as a custodian at North Schuylkill School District.
Harry served in the Air Force during the Korean War, in Germany,
He was a member of Frackville American Legion Post 398.
He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Swartz.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years Elizabeth (Weber) Swartz , a daughter Linda Charnick and her husband Joseph, Mertztown, a grandson Michael Charnick, Colorado, a brother-in-law Deiter Schäfer, Germany, and three Nieces, Germany.
Graveside Services for Harry will be held at the Odd Fellows cemetery, Frackville on Tuesday Dec 27th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 or the National Psoriasis Foundation, 6600 SW 92nd Ave., Suite 300, Portland, OR 97223-7195.
