Gloria B. DeMarkis , 86, of St. Clair, died Friday June 6, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville.
Born April 7, 1928, She was a daughter of the late John and Teresa (Ferris) Mozloom.
She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair, their choir for many years and the Blue Army of the Blessed Mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph DeMarkis in 1997, brother Vincent Mozloom sister Anna Joseph and three Grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons Joseph DeMarkis and his wife Cheryl of Pottsville; David DeMarkis and his wife Gloria M. of Pottsville; two daughters, Teresa Murray and her husband William of St. Clair; Gloria Beberkov and her husband Emil of Warminster;
three brothers Thomas Mozloom, Francis Mozloom, John Mazloom, three sisters, Marie Barber, Norma Mozloom, Janet Massoud, 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and caretakers Doreen and Betty.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. St. Clair. The Rev. William Glosser will be officiating. . Friends may call from 9:00 – 10:30 AM Tuesday at the church In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clare of Assisi Memorial Fund. Interment will be in the Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Norwegian Twp. .
