Florence L. Wapinski , 90, formerly of St. Clair, died Monday January 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Rest Haven, Schuylkill Haven.
Born in St. Clair, February 14, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Trout) Bedford.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, St. Clair, PA
Florence was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, daughter Sandra Sponenburg, son in law Frederick Sponenburg 2 brothers Charles Bedford and William Bedford; 2 sisters Ida Boris and Betty Henry.
Surviving are 3 sons, Stanley Wapinski and his wife Peg of St. Clair; John Wapinsky and his wife Sandra of St. Clair; Robert Wapinski of St. Clair; daughter Patricia Sweat and her husband John of Reedsville; brother Robert Bedford of Pottsville; sister Laura Jackson of Ohio; 11 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair. The Rev. Rev. Kerry Smart will be officiating. . Friends may call from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital , P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148. Burial will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, North Manheim Twp.
