Fay R. James , 84, of Raleigh,NC, formerly of Gilberton and Frackville, died January 11, 2014 in NC.
Born in Gilberton, July 9, 1929, She was a daughter of the late Andrew and Emma (Gouldner) Sherry.
She was retired from Foothill Acres Rehab & Nursing Center, Hillsborough , NJ.
She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur G. James, Sr.; 7 brothers Edward Sherry, John Sherry, Vernon Sherry, Allen Sherry, William (Bill) Sherry, Paul Sherry, Kenneth (Kenny) Sherry and 2 sisters Mabel Reith-Mayer, Ethel Westner.
Surviving are 3 sisters Mae Thomas of Clifton Twp., Joan McKenzie of Mahanoy City and Janice Gregonis of North Wales; 2 sons Lester A. James of Monmouth Jct., NJ, Arthur G. James Jr. of Vienna, NJ; a daughter Cheryl Weer of Orange Park, FL. 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday June 14 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, Frackville, with Rev. Oliver Brown Officiating.
