Evelyn C. Berdanier , 80 , of 126 South Mill St., St. Clair, died Monday at Home Surrounded by her family.
Born in Frackville, January 9, 1934 , She was a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Dudonis) Wapinsky.
She retired after 33 years as a Machine operator from the former St. Clair Garment.
She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair, and ILGWU.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Berdanier and a brother Francis Wapinsky.
Surviving are 2 sons David Berdanier of Pottsville, James Berdanier and his wife Linda of Pottsville; a daughter Carol Donald of Wesley Chapel, FL; 5 grandchildren Jonathan, Jennifer and Jordan Berdanier, Makenzie and Tommy Donald; sister Maryanne Stencovage of St. Clair; Nieces and Nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. St. Clair with Rev. Msgr. William F. Glosser officiating. Friends may call from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM Saturday at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., St.. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clare of Assisi Memorial Fund at the above address. Graveside services & burial will be held at a later date in SS. Peter & Paul RC Cemetery, Port Carbon .
