Eva J. Chowansky , 89, of 323 S. Broad Mt Ave, Frackville, died Thursday at Providence Place Pine Grove.
Born in Frackville, October 13, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Yozalinas) Pascavage.
She was a member of St. Joseph Parish and the former Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Frackville.
In addition of her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert S. Chowansky Sr. in 1999, four brothers John, Albert, George and Victor Pascavage.
Surviving are 2 sons, Albert Chowansky and his fiancé Kathy of Orlando, FL; John Chowansky and his wife Patty of Pine Grove, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday from Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 7 South Broad Mt. Ave. Frackville. The Rev. Robert Finlan will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Monday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph Parish Memorial Fund 7 South Broad Mt. Ave, Frackville, PA 17931. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery , Annville.
