Esther Smith , 93, of 128 W. Arch St., Frackville, died Thursday March 10, 2016 at Home surrounded by her family.
Born in Shenandoah, June 13, 1922, She was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Julia Wandzilak.
She retired as a Custodian from Frackville Elementary School.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Frackville, PA, and Frackville Senior Citizens.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband Harry Jay Smith on Oct. 8, 2003, 2 brothers Samuel and Alfred; 4 sisters Anne, Bobbi, Christine and Mary.
Surviving are daughter Deborah Smith of Frackville; a son Nevin Smith and his wife Kathy of Schuylkill Haven, granddaughter Renee Corby of Minersville; Grandson, David Flail of Frackville, Great Grandchildren Sean Flail of Pottsville; Alysha Corby of Minersville, Great- Great Grandson Cayden Flail of Pottsville; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 AM Wednesday from Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc, 9 North Lehigh Avenue Frackville with Rev. Jonathan W. Hall officiating. . Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00-9:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund 25 S. Balliet St. Frackville, PA 17931. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery , Annville, PA
