Emma L. Shamolsky , 93, of 15 S. Fifth St., Frackville, went home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday.
Born in Shenandoah, October 29, 1919, She was a daughter of the late John and Bessie Bright
She retired as a Presser at Former Model Garment, Frackville.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Mahanoy City, ; Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 154, Ashland; Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Allentown Shrine #27; Past Secretary of St. John Lutheran Church Shenandoah, and ILGWU.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Shamolsky on September 25, 1999. 2 brothers Alfred Bright Sr. and David Bright Sr;
Surviving are daughter Joan Lex and her husband John , Maryland, granddaughter Joan Payne, Ringtown and her canine companions Gunner, Ivy and Astor;
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday from the Nice Hart Funeral Home Inc. 9 N. Lehigh Ave Frackville with Rev. Fred Crawford officiating. . Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sky- View Memorial Park, Hometown.
