Elyse Joan Wychunas, 52, of 29 Hilltop, Schuylkill Haven, died Saturday May 28, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
Born in Pottsville, May 30, 1963, she was a daughter of Lee Anne Bicht Schroding and the late Edward "Ted" Schroding.
Elyse was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Friedensburg.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Sandy Schroding, and a brother-in-law, Dennie Finz.
Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Robert J. Wychunas; two daughters, Amanda Wychunas and her companion, Jesse Evans, Deer Lake, and Erin Wychunas, Minersville; son, Devin Wychunas, Schuylkill Haven; five beloved grandchildren, McKenna Wychunas, Aiden Boom, Alayna Boom, Preston Evans and Jaxson Hoover; four brothers, Edward "Corky" Schroding, Port Carbon, Scott Schroding, Greencastle, Kyle Schroding and his wife, Susan, New Philadelphia, and William and wife, Jaymee, Mill Creek; two sisters, Kristi McShaw and her husband, Pat, Port Carbon, and Korlyn Finz and her companion, Jon, Greencastle; nieces and nephews; caregiver, Jessica Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., Saint Clair. The Rev. Peggy Sue Pfeffer will be officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to defray the costs of the funeral services. Bruce T.
