Born in Saint Clair, April 19, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Walanska Tomko.
She was a 1946 graduate of Saint Clair High School.
She was a member of St. Michael Orthodox Church, Saint Clair.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Krisa, on Jan. 27, 1998; a son, John M. Krisa, on Sept. 12, 2007; three brothers, John, Steven and Michael Tomko, who died in infancy; four sisters, Mary Bushkie, Kathryn Campbell, Ann Madara and Helen Peshock.
She is survived by three sons, Stephen Krisa and his companion, Patricia Shevokis, Rogue River, Ore., Theodore Krisa and his wife, Carol, Schuylkill Haven, and Thomas Krisa, Saint Clair; three daughters, Cynthia Fanelli and her husband, Joseph, Pottsville, Ellen Krisa and her companion, Robert Cauley, Schuylkill Haven, and Elsie Daniels and her husband, Glenn, Palo Alto; a daughter-in law, Georgine Krisa, Pottsville; 13 grandchildren, John M. Krisa Jr., Nicole Stine, Rama Krisa, Jennika Krisa, Ted Krisa, Michael Krisa, Melissa Morgan, Shannon Wallace, David Shevokis, Samantha Bracey, Savannah Koles, Arrianna Daniels and Rhiannon Daniels; 14 great-grandchildren, Joey, Natasha, Dylan, Jarron, Jack, Owen, Elijah, Logan, Kaiya, Jace, Zane, Liam, Landon and Benjamin; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 :45 a.m. Thursday at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., Saint Clair. Further services will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Orthodox Church, Nichols Street, Saint Clair, with the Rev. Jeff Zias officiating. Callings hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
