Ellen Holowaty, 59, of Ashland, died Wednesday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Ashland, July 29, 1956, She was a daughter of Dorothy (Vaughn) McCormickof Shenandoah and the late Francis McCormick
She was a graduate of Cardinal Brennan High School and received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degree of Science in Education from Bloomsburg University.
Ellen retired as a Elementary Teacher from the North Schuylkill School District.
She attended the Chapel of Carmel of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Elysburg
Surviving are her husband of 26 years Michael Holowaty; 2 Brothers Patrick McCormick of Frackville; Sean McCormick and his wife Maureen of Ringtown; Sister-in-law Larissa Holowaty; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA , PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
