Eleanor Dimmerling Ryan, 75 years old, a lifelong resident of Saint Clair, passed away on Sunday April 22, 2018 surrounded by her "girls." She is survived by her daughters Kyran Wilson, Colleen Summa, Kelly Boyle, grandchildren Fionn Wilson and Ryan Elizabeth Boyle, and brother James Dimmerling and his wife Millie. She was preceded in death by sisters Frances Wixted and Rose Marie Barret and a brother George Dimmerling
Eleanor was a proud and faithful member of the Catholic Community and Saint Clare of Assisi Parish. She most enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially travelling, and spending summer vacations at the beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Claire of Assisi Church 250 East Hancock Street St. Clair, PA 17970. The Rev. Msgr. William F. Glosser will be officiating. Calling hours will be from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM at the church. Interment will be in the Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Norwegian Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family would request a donation be made in her honor to the Penn Memory Center, 3615 Chestnut Street, Room 236, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (pennmemorycenter.org/gifts/) or to her faithful friends the "Pink Nun's" at the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters, Covenant of Divine Love, 2212 Green Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130.
