Cynthia Sonnon, 67, of 1210 W. Norwegian St., Pottsville, died Friday at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Williamsport, Sept. 3, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Viola Horrox Calvin.
She worked in housekeeping at Schuylkill Medical Center–South Jackson Street.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Jacobs and Andrea Harman; a brother, Raymond Calvin.
Surviving are her husband of 23 years, Robert Sonnon; two daughters, Jennifer Dusel, Kutztown, and Bobbie Lee Fort, Dieners Hill; a son, William Hoa, Pottsville; three stepsons, Robert Sonnon, Schuylkill Haven, William Sonnon, Schuylkill Haven, and Edward Sonnon, Pottsville; a stepdaughter, Iesha Kramer, Cressona; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., Saint Clair. Friends may call the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday morning. Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, Saint Clair, has charge of arrangements.
