Charles H. Smith Sr., 68, of 2250 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, passed away Wednesday
Born in Pottsville, November 26, 1946, he was a son of the late John and Clara (Schoffstall) Smith.
He was the owner of Smith & Smith General Contracting Inc., Pottsville, PA.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother John Smith.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years Carol (Zelanko) Smith, son Charles Smith Jr. and his wife Alicia of Pottsville; a daughter Jennifer Herndon and her husband Alex of Pottsville, 3 sisters Carol Martin of Pottsville; Sherry Tobias of Pottsville; Tammy Smith of Pine Grove; 4 grandchildren Sienna and Shane Smith, Collin and Riley Herndon. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday at the Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 N. Second St. Saint Clair, with Rev. Barry Brown officiating. . Friends may call from 10:00AM – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA for Veterinary Care, PO Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
