Anna Williams, 93, formally of Frackville, passed away Wednesday, June 11 at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville. Born in Frackville, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Evans) Irvin and Mary (Gutekunst) Irvin.
She was a 1938 graduate of Frackville High School. She worked at Bendix Aviation Corp. in Philadelphia for the war effort during W.W.II . She was employed at Sears, Roebuck in Pottsville and retired in 1981 from the Ashland State Hospital as a cook

Anna was a member of The First United Methodist Church, Frackville where she served on the Alter guild and was active in the Women's Association. She was a member of Frackville senior citizens, delivered Meals on Wheels and was an inspector and judge the Southward Election Board.
The joy of her life was her family. She loved camping, reading and playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Williams, Sr. and her brother Robert Irvin
Surviving are a son Edward and his wife Audrey, Ringtown, 3 daughters Joan Davis and her husband Bob, Athen, TX, Gail Garman and her husband Gary, Riverside, and Carol Neumeister and her husband Scott, Orwigsburg, 2 Granddaughters Crystal and her husband Martin, TX and Kathleen Dunsavage, NY.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 17 at the First United Methodist Church Frackville with Pastor Sue Ketterer officiating, Friends may called at the church from 10 AM until time of service. At the family's request, Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the memorial fund of the First United Methodist Church, 25 South Balliet St. Frackville 17931.
