Amy Lynn McClintock, 40, of A Street, Girardville, died Tuesday at her residence.
Born in Pottsville, Sept. 16, 1977, she was a daughter of Robert W. Thomas and his wife, Stephanie, Frackville and her mother, the late Janice Wagner Thomas.
She graduated in 1996 from North Schuylkill High School, where she also worked as a custodian.
Amy was formerly a member of Goodwill Hose Company, Frackville; Altamont Fire Company; Frackville Ambulance Association; Pottsville EMS, Pottsville; Saint Clair Hook & Ladder, Saint Clair, Greenwood Hill Fire Company, Pottsville, and the American Hose Company, Pottsville. She was currently a member of Girard Hose Company, Girardville, where she was the secretary and a firefighter; life member of Rainbow Hose Company, Schuylkill Haven, Ham Radio operator license KB3PHI; Schuylkill Amateur Repeater Association; and Tamaqua Wireless Association.
Surviving are her spouse of 15 years, Robert J. McClintock; two sons, Jordan Klimas, Mount Carmel, and Devin McClintock, Girardville; an aunt, Diane Robbins, Frackville; a cousin, Wayne Robbins, Phoenixville, and her beloved dog, Elvis.
Celebration of life Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday from Girard Hose Company, 120 E. Main St. Girardville with Rev. Sue Kennedy officiating. . Friends may call from 1:30-3:00 PM at the Fire Co.
