Agnes E. Marchowsky , 96, formerly of St. Clair died Saturday June 6, 2015 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
Born in St. Clair, January 1, 1919, She was a daughter of the late John and Regina (Urban) Grabish.
She was machine operator retiring from the former at St. Clair Garment.
Agnes was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair.
She was preceded in death by her husband John "Red" Marchowsky, 2 Brothers Paul Grabish and Stanley Grabish, 3 Sisters Catherine Swiatowicz, Mary Moorehoouse and Helen Bridy.
Surviving are 3 daughters; Regina Marchowsky of St. Clair; Joan Hinchey and her husband Joseph of St. Clair; Agnes Mansell and her husband Matthew of Ashburn, VA; 1 sister Virginia Stednitz of Pottstown; 4 grandchildren; Melissa Hinchey, Maria Larish, Emily Mansell, Sarah Mansell, 2 great- grandchildren; David and Emma Troutman, nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock Street, St. Clair. Con-celebrating the mass will be The Rev. Msgrs. William Glosser and John Grabish. Friends may call from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Church. Burial will be in SS. Peter & Paul RC Cemetery, Port Carbon .
