Yvonne Beauchamp, 88, of 108 S. Fourth St., Frackville, died Monday at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Gilberton, March 6, 1926, she was a daughter of the late William and Hazel Schultz Griffiths.
A graduate of Gilberton High School, she was a member of Gilberton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Beauchamp, in 1992; and a son, Richard Beauchamp, June 4.
Surviving are a sister, Hazel Griffiths, Gilberton; two granddaughters, Renee Walker, Morris, N.Y., and Michele Beauchamp, Lancaster; two great-granddaughters, Helen Teese and Bridget Walker; her friend and caregiver, Theresa Kuropatsky, Gilberton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nice-Hart Funeral Home Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville, with the Rev. Jack Murray officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Frackville Free Public Library, 56 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville, PA 17931. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
