Sherry Zimmerman, 41, of 500 Laurel Street, Minersville, died unexpected Thursday at her residence. Born in Pottsville, May 6, 1973, She was a daughter of Lawrence and Rose Poploski Zimmerman.
She was an avid N.Y. Yankee fan, enjoyed watching Sissy Spacek movies, particularly Coal Miners Daughter and had a compassion for all dogs especially her little buddy Elvis.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a brother Larry Zimmerman of York; two sisters, Tammy Zimmerman of Minersville; MaryJo Munley and her husband Johnathan of Pottsville; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Any donations in her memory can be made to the Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
