mixedrosesLaverne Charowsky , 89, of 512 South Mill Street, St. Clair, died Tuesday at her daughter's residence, Port Carbon.

 

Born in Pottsville, May 13, 1925, She was a daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Lowthert) Johns.

 

She retired from the former Argo, Pottsville..

 

She was a member of St. Clair, Port Carbon  and the Blythe Twp. Senior Citizens.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Charowsky; daughter Sharon Boucher and her step – father Richard Anderson.

 

Surviving are a  daughter Tina Motto and her husband David of Port Carbon; 2 sons Russell Charowsky of Port Carbon; Richard Charowsky of St. Clair;  brother Lee Anderson and his wife Joyce of Bel Aire, MD; sister Mildred Smilko of Baltimore, MD; Grandchildren, Great Grand  Children, Nieces and Nephews.

 

Celebration of Life Service will be held from the Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair on Friday Dec.12, 2014 at11:30 AM. Friends may call from 11:00 AM  until time of service.

 

  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 101 West Frack St. Frackville, PA 17931.

Dear Charowsky Family,

We send our heartfelt condolences to you all.  Our hope is that along with many wonderful memories you may find comfort in knowing that others care especially the God of all comfort. He is the only one who can heal our brokenhearts. Never will he break a promise for he yearns to reunite us with our dear loved ones again by means the resurrection.
