Edward "Ted" Schroding , 76, of 6 Pike St., Port Carbon, died Tuesday at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Mill Creek Manor, September 12, 1939, He was a son of the late Louis F. and Elizabeth (Jones) Schroding
He was a 1957 Graduate of St. Clair High School.
He retired as a Steel Worker from Cartech, Reading.
He of the Protestant Faith
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Schroding.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years Lee Ann (Bicht) Schroding 6 Children Edward "Corky" Schroding; Christy McShaw and her husband Pat; Elyse Wychunas and her husband Bob; Scott Schroding widower of Sandy; Kyle Schroding and his wife Susan; Korlyn Finz widow of Dennie Finz and her companion Jon; William Kruss and his wife Jaymee ,, brother Charles "Bud" Schroding and his wife Doris; 2 Sisters Celine Moyer and her husband Joseph; Thelma Powell and her husband William. 19 Grandchildren DonaLea and her husband Dave; Amanda and her companion Jesse; Shannon and her companion James; Scotty and his wife Tina; Erin; Devin; Kaia; Tori and her companion Vahn; Patrick ; Katie; Cassie and her companion Brandon; Cheyanne; Zavry; Abby; Logan; Kyle; Teagan; Olivia; Bodhi; 9 Great Grandchildren McKenna; Nathan; Tristen; Aiden; Preston; Alayna; Jackson; Noah; Madelynn. Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 PM Sunday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair with Rev.. Peggy Sue Pfeffer officiating. . Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral costs. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
